On Media Outlook News:  CHICAGO — Two carjackers stole a minivan left running with a 2-year-old child inside in Galewood Monday evening, police said.                                                         ***Advertisement*** At 6:18 p.m., a woman, of unknown age, left her 1999 white Pontiac minivan unattended in the 6500 block of West North Avenue with her child inside, police said. Two people stole the van and fled in an unknown direction. The child, whose gender is unknown, was later found dropped off somewhere in Oak Park with no injuries. The child was then reunited with family.  After dropping off the child, the carjackers drove off and were taken into custody after crashing the car on Central Avenue and Jackson Boulevard. Charges are pending, police said.

Eddie Crowder, 50, was denied bail Tuesday in the bloody attack, which left 36-year-old Elizabeth Kennedy dead and two others wounded in the 3300 block of West Marquette Road about 7:40 p.m. Saturday. ***Advertisement*** According to prosecutors, Kennedy had one child with Crowder. It happened near 51st and Locust around 10:30 p.m. ***Advertisement*** Police say shots were fired during an argument — resulting in one of the suspect’s cars being hit with bullets. The driver of that car sped off, striking another vehicle with a bystander inside. That bystander suffered minor injuries. Police are searching for a known suspect.
