According to Page Six, Penguin Random House brand One World will publish a book by Kaepernick but the reclusive free agent has yet to discuss anything related to discuss anything pertaining to the partnership.

The Random House division aims to publish the works “novelists, essayists, memoirists, poets, journalists, thinkers, activists, and creative artists unconstrained by genre—who seek to challenge the status quo, subvert dominant narratives, and give us new language to understand our past, present, and future” according to its website.

The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback became an icon for the movement to end police brutality when he began kneeling during the recitation of the national anthem before football games.

He recently filed a collusion grievance against the 32 NFL team owners for collectively choosing not to employ the quarterback because of his protest.
