Barack Obama sends the prettiest surprise to Michelle on her birthday
On Media Outlook News: Barack Obama celebrated wife Michelle’s 54th birthday in the sweetest way: with a colorful bouquet of flowers addressed to “Miche.”
On Wednesday, the 44th first lady shared a photo of the tulip-and-rose assortment that came with a handwritten note from her husband. “Thank you @BarackObama for the beautiful flowers waiting for me in the office this morning,” Michelle wrote on the post, which has more than 1 million likes. “You’re my best friend, biggest fan, and getting notes and flowers from you will never get old.”
Michelle also thanked her supporters: “And to the many people from around the country who sent cards and posted on social media, you have no idea how much we love hearing from you. I know birthdays can sometimes be bittersweet (54!), but your messages of hope, generosity, and warmth have always reminded me how lucky and blessed we are.”
In a second photo, Michelle showed a glimpse of her desk calendar buried under greeting cards and Wednesday’s date, on which (presumably) Barack had written, “Happy Birthday!”
