One fired, two suspended after armed workers photo surfaced


On Media Outlook News: A controversial photo showing men working for the city brandishing a gun has cost one man his job. 


Two more workers are also facing punishment. They all worked for American Sewer Services in Waukesha County.

The owner of American Sewer Services didn’t take any time to take disciplinary action and Milwaukee Alderman Russell Stamper is pleased with this outcome. 
Stamper says the two employees on suspension are also under investigation
The photo that’s gone viral was taken at 19th and Meinecke. The city summoned the company to meet with them to discuss the photo Tuesday.

PILSEN — An early-morning hit and run crash in Pilsen last week startled neighbors, who said they were yet to figure out who owned the car that was damaged. Arturo Valle, who lives near 19th Street and Racine Avenue, said the crash happened at 4:35 a.m. on Jan. 26. "It woke up everyone in the building," he said. In a video of the incident caught on a security camera and posted on Facebook, a dark-colored Jeep headed south on Racine can be seen blowing through a stop sign at 19th Street. It then slams into a white sedan parked near the corner. The Jeep clips the rear driver's side of the car, knocking if off the ground. The Jeep stops, backs up for a short distance, then continues south. No one can be seen getting out of the car. There were no reported injuries from the collision.
