[CONFESSIONS] ‘My Husband Doesn’t Satisfy Me Sexually’

Image
On Media Outlook News: I  waited almost 27 years to have sex .  While most of my friends were giving it up all over our high school and college campuses, I was keeping a pledge I made to God and my parents to save myself until marriage.  It was hard to remain a virgin when everyone around me seemed to be enjoying the pleasures of sex.  I often imagined what it would be like when I had sex with my husband on our wedding night.  It would be romantic, sensual and passionate; my husband would be a patient teacher and lover making sure I shivered from the top of my head to the tips of my toes.  When it was over, I would see the heavens and the stars, and then cuddle up in his arms knowing that this man would make me feel this way forever.  But you know what they say about fantasies…they ain’t always reality. The day I married my husband Rich two years ago is still the happiest day of my life.  He is the man that I always dreamed of having by my side and lives each day to me feel loved

Unless You’re Comfortable with YOU, You’ll Never Find Love

Image
On Media Outlook News: P erhaps we should love ourselves so fiercely, that when others see us they know exactly how it should be done.” – Josh Billings I hate to say it, but the above quote isn’t all the way true. Sometimes your dog loves you more than you love yourself. And that sucks. Everyone who wants love may sit up and wonder if it’s them. They may wonder why they’re still single when “less than desirable” people have somebody. And while a little bit of self-reflection is good, envy never is. Sometimes it is you. But it’s not your weight, or your hair or the fact that you don’t look like you belong in  GQ  or on the cover of  Elle.  Sometimes it’s the fact that you do not  love  yourself. Before anyone can even begin to appreciate you, you have to understand your value and what you bring to a relationship. No one else will be able to compute your worth if you do not know how to do so. You might be walking around in the latest threads, have a solid six-figure g

There’s a Scientific Number for How Often You Should Clean Your Home

Image
On Media Outlook News: T hey say cleanliness is next to godliness, and if you’re not one to subscribe to a higher power … we’d venture to guess that you still somewhat value the practice. How clean a person is is usually determined by their lifestyle, but according to science, there is a magic number of how often you should clean and disinfect certain areas of your home. According to research conducted by Popular Science, you should change your bed linen and wipe down the bathroom at least once a week, swap out your bathroom towels daily and your kitchen towels weekly, disinfect the sink daily and clean your rugs/floors every one to two weeks. Researchers cite health concerns as the motivating factor for cleaning your home this often, with some food bacteria being able to live as long as 24 hours in your kitchen. “Simple hand-washing can greatly reduce your risk of picking up germs,” said Philip Tierno, director of microbiology and diagnostic immunology at the New Yor
