Shia LeBeouf Apologizes for Racist Jail Rant, Admits to Struggles with Addiction

On Media Outlook News: Shia LeBeouf apologized Wednesday for his drunken, racist tirade against Georgia police officers and jailers who arrested him over the weekend for public intoxication.
The veteran actor posted a statement on Twitter in which he expressed shame and remorse for his behavior, calling it a "new low."
LeBeouf, who was arrested in 2008 for a DUI and in 2014 for "drunken behavior," wrote in the statement that he's been struggling with addiction for "far too long."
He was reportedly arrested by Savannah police for disorderly conduct, obstruction, and public drunkenness after he began harassing a person who didn't give him a cigarette early Saturday morning. After being told to leave, he became aggressive towards a cop before running to the lobby of his nearby hotel. It was there that LeBeouf was taken into custody.
Check out the apology up top.
