Police: 2 shot, injured in separate shooting incidents in Milwaukee


MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating two separate shooting incidents that occurred Sunday, October 23rd.
The first shooting occurred near 24th and Clarke around 1:25 p.m.
According to police, the 32-year-old male victim was sitting in his vehicle when he was shot. Police say at this point in the investigation, it is unclear if the shooting suspect was inside or outside of the victim’s vehicle when the shooting occurred.
The victim was treated by MFD and was conveyed to a local hospital. The 32-year-old man is in serious condition, but is expected to survive his injuries.
The second shooting occurred in an alley near 39th and Florist around 9:30 p.m.
According to police, the 17-year-old victim said he was driving when a suspect, who was driving behind him in a different vehicle, fired several gunshots him.
The victim sustained a non-life threatening gunshot injury. He was taken to a hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department.
MPD is seeking suspects in both cases.
