Family wants to know “why” alleged drug dealer shot and killed by police near 19th and Stark

On Media Outlook News:  MILWAUKEE -- There was a gathering Monday evening, March 20th at the scene of a fatal officer-involved shooting that happened on Thursday, March 16th. 32-year-old Jermaine Claybrooks was killed near 19th and Stark on Thursday, March 16th, and his family wants to know why deadly force was necessary. Jermaine Claybrooks Milwaukee police have said Claybrooks, a alleged drug dealer, was the focus of a drug investigation involving Milwaukee police, West Allis police and the DEA. The officer-involved shooting happened when undercover officers tried to arrest him on Thursday evening. A witness said a police SUV bumped Claybrooks' car, and Claybrooks' car ran into a tree and began smoking, the tires still spinning. Teen on his way to spring break in Florida busted with 7 cases of beer, marijuana in truck, cops say

On Media Outlook News:  A 19-year-old University of Alabama student speeding toward some spring break festivities was arrested in Florida Friday after police say they found seven cases of beer and marijuana in his pickup truck. Alden Whiteside was stopped by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s deputies on Interstate 10 on suspicion of driving recklessly while he was on his way to the town of Destin,  Action News Jax reported . A deputy found the cases of Natural Light in Whiteside’s truck as well as marijuana in the center console, authorities said. Authorities said Whiteside was also carrying a fake driver’s license. Whiteside was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol by someone under the age of 21, KTRK-TV reported. The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office posted a picture of the truck on Facebook with a message to spring breakers. On Media Outlook News:  MILWAUKEE COUNTY -- A 32-year-old Milwaukee woman is accused of severely abusing her three-month-old foster child, and experts say a family friend's decision to call Child Protective Services on the foster mother likely saved the baby's life. Dominique Lindsey is charged with one count of physical abuse of a child, repeated acts causing great bodily harm, for alleged actions that took place between December of 2016 and March of 2017. Milwaukee Jail Under Fire For Forcing Women To Give Birth In Shackles

On Media Outlook News:  Last week, a jail in Milwaukee, WI was slammed with a class action lawsuit charging its personnel with forcing dozens of women to give birth in shackles. The suit was filed on March 14 on behalf of 27-year-old inmate Melissa Hall, who was pregnant during her incarceration at Milwaukee County Jail in 2013. Hall is said to have been locked in a "belly-chain" described to have bound her wrists to her waist, while her legs were planked with irons, during labor. The suit alleges that the guards responsible for transporting and keeping watch over Hall would refuse to unshackle her despite the insistence of hospital workers. As a result of Hall's confinement, doctors say it was difficult for them to give her an epidural and she was forced to endure more pain. On Media Outlook News:  WENTZVILLE, MO –  Rock ‘n’ Roll legend Chuck Berry was found dead at his residence 45 miles outside of St. Louis Saturday (March 18), St. Charles County Police confirmed. He was 90. Police say they responded to a medical emergency call at his home around 12:40 p.m. CST and found Berry unresponsive. “Unfortunately, the 90-year-old man could not be revived and was pronounced deceased at 1:26 p.m,” SCCPD announced on their  Facebook  page. “The St. Charles County Police Department sadly confirms the death of Charles Edward Anderson Berry Sr., better known as legendary musician Chuck Berry.” The highly regarded Rock pioneer, famously known for his cutting-edge guitar licks on hit numbers such as “Roll Over Beethoven,” “Sweet Little Sixteen” and “Johnny B. Deputies conducting manhunt for three escapees from Oklahoma jail

On Media Outlook News:  A manhunt is underway after three men with long rap sheets busted out of an Oklahoma county jail. Brian Allen Moody, 23, Sonny Baker, 41, and Mark Dwayne Robbins, 23, escaped through the ventilation system of the Lincoln County jail in Chandler around 11 p.m. Thursday, according to reports. They stole two pick-up trucks and found a handgun in a one vehicle and a debit card in the other. Authorities say the escapees then drove 50 miles from Chandler to Midwest and stopped at a 7-11 where they used the debit card. All three were in custody for property crimes and each has been arrested multiple times, KWTV in Oklahoma City reported Friday. The Associated Press contributed to this report.

On Media Outlook News: One person was detained after a suspicious vehicle drove up to a White House checkpoint on Saturday evening, according to a United States Secret Service spokesperson. A law enforcement official told Fox News that the individual claimed to have an explosive device in the vehicle. “An individual drove a vehicle up to a Secret Service checkpoint located at 15th Street and E Street NW,” a statement from the spokesperson said. “Upon contact with the individual, U.S. Secret Service Uniform Division Officers detained the individual and declared his vehicle suspicious.” The incident occurred around 11 p.m. and has prompted the Secret Service to increase “their posture of readiness,” the spokesperson said. An official told Fox News that one individual was taken into custody; indicating only one person may have been inside the vehicle during the incident.
